How To Re-Activate Your FFOF Account


During the post transfer, we have been able to transfer some basic information about your user account, i.e. your user name and ID number. We weren't however able to transfer your password over, due to it being completely invisible, even to us, as well as because vBulletin's password encryption system isn't really transparent.

So, while you will still have your account here on the New, you won't be able to log in until we (read: one of the administrators) have set you a password OR you have reset your password.

For a part of the members, we have manually transferred your e-mail addresses to the New through the admin CP. These are the more well-known members.

The first step to trying to get your password is by using the Lost Password page. Fill in your e-mail address here as was registered at the Old FFOF as your e-mail address. If you get an error saying the e-mail address was not found, you either filled in the wrong address, or it has not been transferred.

If the first step doesn't work, or you're just plain lazy, you'll have to contact one of the administrators via MSN or e-mail. To mail, send an e-mail to webmaster@ffof.nl, containing your username, desired password and, optionally, your join date at the Old FFOF.
